John Juzek was a Czech violin maker making instruments in his shop in Prague between the 1900-1920s. Legend has it that he would use wood from old churches and abandone homes and otherwise go into the Carpathian mountains. His most reputable and noted instruments are the Master Art series. The highest quality of instruments are given the honor of being called a Master Art. John Juzeks grandsons still run the company today.
